End User License Agreement
Sous-e
Last updated: August 2026
Â
1. Agreement & Acceptance
Â
This End User License Agreement constitutes a binding legal contract between you and Harish Chandran for the Sous-e mobile application. The agreement becomes effective upon downloading, installing, or accessing the App. Disagreement with these terms means you should not proceed with installation or use. This Agreement is between you and Harish Chandran only. Google is not a party to this Agreement.
Â
2. License Grant
Â
Harish Chandran provides you with a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Android devices that you own or control. The licence does not permit network distribution or use on devices outside your control.
Â
3. Restrictions

Prohibited activities include: modifying or creating derivative versions of the App; reverse engineering, decompiling or disassembling the App or attempting to derive its source code; commercial exploitation; removing or obscuring proprietary notices; and using the App for any unlawful purpose.

4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Sous-e offers a one-time 14-day access pass and auto-renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions.
Â
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Google processes all payments through your Google Play account. You can view, manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the Google Play Store app, under Menu → Subscriptions, or at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Â
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play refund policy. Harish Chandran does not receive or retain your payment card, UPI or bank details at any time.
Â
The 14-day access pass is a one-time purchase. It does not renew, and because it is consumed on purchase it is not restorable if you reinstall the App or move to another device.
Â
5. Ownership & Intellectual Property

All App content — recipes, guides, graphics, and software — remains owned by Harish Chandran or its licensors. This licence grants usage rights only; ownership is not transferred.

6. User Content & Data

Profile and preference data support App functionality as described in the Privacy Policy. Personal data collection remains minimal and is used for authentication and for operating the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Recipe and nutritional information serves general informational purposes only and should not replace professional dietary or medical consultation.
Allergen and dietary filtering is a convenience feature and not a medical safeguard. Always verify ingredient labels yourself before cooking or eating.
Â
8. Limitation of Liability
Â
Harish Chandran bears no liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the App or its unavailability, even where advised in advance of the possibility of such damages.
Â
9. Term & Termination

This Agreement terminates automatically upon non-compliance with its terms or upon deletion of your account. Upon termination you must cease all use of the App and remove all copies of it.
Â
10. Governing Law

Indian law governs this Agreement, with disputes subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable Indian courts.
Â
11. Changes to this Agreement

This Agreement may be updated periodically, with notification given by revision of the date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modifications.
Â
12. Contact
Â
Questions should be directed through the Help & Support section within the App, or by email to info@panopius.com.
Â
13. Google Play Terms
Â
You acknowledge that this Agreement is between you and Harish Chandran only, and not with Google. Harish Chandran, not Google, is solely responsible for the App and its content, for any maintenance and support, and for addressing any claims relating to the App — including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
Â
Your use of the App must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not responsible for the App or for investigating, defending or resolving any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights.
Â
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a government embargo, or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
